Woodlands People and Events with Missy Herndon March 2015

Dear Readers,

Giving Goes Glam is going to be Glamtastic this year as the fourth annual event welcomes Saks Fifth Avenue to The Woodlands runway. The fashion show and luncheon is sure to “wow” its fashion-forward guests as professional and community models strut the most intriguing Spring trends to benefit the many community programs of Interfaith of The Woodlands and Junior League of The Woodlands. Event chairs Cindy Heiser and Alison Henderson have assured us that local fashionistas will not be disappointed! For more details see woodlandsinterfaith.org.

I am looking forward to a new event this month benefitting an amazing organization, Angel Reach, which exists to help our community’s abused and neglected foster children. The Wings, Wheels and Heels Hangar Party will be held on March 28 at the Galaxy FBO at Lonestar Executive Airport. Honorary Chairs Dianne and George Lindahl join event Chairs Stephanie Milstead and Ally Seder for a fabulous black, red and white attire event focused on breaking the generational cycle of abuse, neglect and homelessness so that lives of former and current foster youth can be enhanced. For more details visit angelreach.org.
