The Woodlands Convention and Visitors Bureau unveiled its new website, www.VisitTheWoodlands.com. Using clean lines and panoramic photographs, visitors can explore the many facets of The Woodlands through simple navigation broken down to the basic tenets of a getaway — What to Do, Where to Stay, Where to Dine, Where to Shop, and Where to do Business. Visitors to the new site will find a vibrant rotating photo gallery that show The Woodlands as an attractive destination for leisure and business travel. The site also utilizes numerous innovative tools from up-to-the-minute social media feeds for Twitter and Facebook to the addition of a tailored section for meeting planners or travel-related businesses.

Xtreme Lashes Studio, a luxury eyelash extension studio in Market Square, held its Gold Carpet Debut on May 7 and 8. The studio offers eyelash extensions, retail products and waxing services. Founder Jo Mousselli was recently recognized as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist. Mousselli started her business six years ago in her home. Since then it has become the global leader in the eyelash extension world. They have trained more than 7,000 eyelash extension professionals in 28 countries. The Woodlands has been home to Mousselli for much of her life.
