2017-Fall-Festivals-and-Events

By Melanie Saxton

Come out and celebrate the fall season with fun-filled excursions and diversions! Despite the flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey, many organizations are sponsoring events for charity, cultural exchanges, shopping, and Halloween celebrations. Whether you love a holiday shopping market, a foodie fest, a good fright or a gala, we’ve put together a directory of festive gatherings that may be a hop, skip or jump away from your home — but definitely worth the trek for the fare and wares! Some events are free; others require the purchase of tickets. Each event listing includes a website, so be sure to check for possible cancellations or any last-minute schedule changes before you hop in your car.
